Marek Handzel joins IREI as editor of Institutional Real Estate Europe
Institutional Real Estate, Inc., has hired Marek Handzel as editor of Institutional Real Estate Europe.
Handzel most recently served as editor at Barker Brooks Communications, where he was involved in numerous aspects of magazine and e-newsletter production. He is the former managing editor of Pension Funds Online and was also editor of the U.K.-based publication Pensions Age. His work has appeared in publications such as Financial News, European Pensions and FSTech.
"Marek will be an excellent addition to our talented editorial staff," says Geoffrey Dohrmann, president and CEO of IREI. "He has more than a dozen years of journalistic experience that includes covering the pensions management, institutional investment, insurance and legal sectors. His knowledge of European markets and the financial services industry will be an asset in his role as editor of our Europe publication."

Handzel replaces Richard Fleming who will be retiring at the end of this year.
