Looking under the hood of Greenbacker’s new energy transition real estate strategy

Up until Greenbacker Capital Management announced its newly launched energy transition real estate strategy, it had been primarily focused on investments in renewable power infrastructure and equity opportunities in energy transition-focused operating companies.

Recognizing the growing need for powered real estate, two Blackstone alums, David Zackowitz and Evan Sherman, joined the company and are working to make Greenbacker a key player in the energy transition real estate sector.
