Listed infrastructure companies announce energy and transportation transactions

Listed infrastructure companies have announced several notable transactions during the past two weeks. Energy provider SSE could invest more than $25 billion in electricity infrastructure in the United Kingdom and Ireland; VINCI subsidiary Seymour Whyte will build the central section of the M12 motorway linking the future Western Sydney International Airport to the Sydney area; Algonquin Power & Utilities Corp. received approval for its acquisition of Kentucky Power Company and AEP Kentucky Transmission Company, Inc.; and CorEnergy Infrastructure Trust signed a memorandum of understanding to provide the transportation solution for a carbon sequestration project in California.
