LendInvest sells €116m BTL portfolio to J.P. Morgan

by Released

LendInvest plc (LSE: LINV), a U.K.-based technology-driven asset manager for property finance, has sold a £100 million (€116 million/$137 million) buy-to-let portfolio to J.P. Morgan.

In January 2021, LendInvest completed the establishment of a separate account mandate with J.P. Morgan with a total capacity of £625 million (€727 million/$854 million). The investment is part of its buy-to-let product, expanding its capacity to lend in this market, while providing J.P. Morgan with exposure to buy-to-let mortgages that have been originated via LendInvest’s proprietary technology platform.

LendInvest has an ongoing arrangement with J.P. Morgan to allocate a portion of monthly buy-to-let originations to its separate account. This transaction transfers £100 million (€116 million/$137 million) of previously originated buy-to-let loans into that separate account, growing its capacity from £625 million to £725 million (€727 million to €844 million/$854 million
