Legal & General adds to retirement housing business senior management team

Guild Living, an operator and developer of urban, later-living communities launched by Legal & General last month, has made four senior appointments.

As part of a growth program, which will see the number of employees increase from 10 to 50 by the end of the year, the business has appointed a care operations director, construction director, marketing director and sales director.

Chris Bamford, who joins as care operations director, joins from the healthcare sector, where he has worked for both private and not-for-profit providers, operating large residential and nursing services across the United Kingdom. Bamford will be responsible for developing an integrated wellness strategy to deliver a world-class service to Guild Living residents to enhance their wellbeing.
