La Française REM acquires last-mile warehouse in Spain

La Française Real Estate Managers (REM) has acquired a last-mile logistics warehouse in La Coruña, Spain, in an off-market transaction. Financial terms were not disclosed.

The seller was VECTURA, a company specializing in the acquisition and development of industrial and logistics property assets, in a continuation of an existing partnership between the two companies.

The warehouse was delivered last February and is fully leased to a key ecommerce player on a long-term lease. The asset has a total surface area of 7,935 square meters (85,411 square feet), including 5,756 square meters (61,957 square feet) of warehouses and 2,179 square meters (23,454 square feet) of offices, as well as eight delivery bays and 571 parking spaces. The asset meets the latest technical and environmental standards, with a BREEAM Very Good certification thanks to the inclusion of roof-mounted solar panels.
