Kryalos and Euryale set up €300m healthcare fund in Italy

Kryalos, a private, independent asset management company with €10.7 billion ($11.5 billion) of assets under management, has partnered with French company Euryale to make investments in Italy’s healthcare sector.

Kryalos has set up Euryale Healthcare Italia 1, a €300 million ($321 million) closed-end healthcare fund. The vehicle, which already has established a strong investment pipeline that is expected to materialize in part in 2022, will include assets such as private medical activities and services managed by specialized clinics, intensive-care centers, diagnostic centers, hospitalization facilities, services outpatient clinics, medical-operating units and nursing homes.

The new fund is fully subscribed by Pierval Santé, a French AIF managed by Euryale Asset Management. Euryale has more than €2.4 billion ($2.6 billion) of assets under management in Europe in the healthcare, senior living and nursing home sectors.
