Korean investor sells Chicago office for $210m

Mirae Asset Global Investments has sold 225 W. Wacker Drive, a 650,812-square-foot class A trophy office tower in Chicago, for $210 million.

Spear Street Capital purchased the asset.

The tower is situated along the south bank of the Chicago River in the city’s River North neighborhood. Cushman & Wakefield uses it as its headquarters. Other tenants include Jackson National Asset Management, True Partners Consulting, PPM America Inc. and Crowe.

It also has a seven-level parking garage for 230 cars, concierge services and a conference center.
