KKR exploring $2b sale of Singapore’s Goodpack

by Andrea Zander

KKR & Co. has plans to consider selling Goodpack, a Singaporean provider of intermediate bulk containers, according to media outlets, citing people familiar with the matter.

The deal is valued at $2 billion.

The private-equity firm acquired it in 2014 for S$1.39 billion ($1.11 billion).

The logistics sector is continuous with strong interest due to the future growth in global consumption. Other private-equity firms who are betting on the sector include Blackstone Group, which recently acquired an $18.7 billion U.S. logistics portfolio from Singapore’s GLP.
