Kentucky Public Pensions appoints Ryan Barrow as next executive director

The Kentucky Public Pensions Authority (KPPA) Board has voted unanimously to appoint Ryan Barrow as the next executive director of KPPA, the group confirmed on Facebook.

Barrow is currently the executive director of the Office of Financial Management in the Kentucky Finance and Administration Cabinet’s Office of the Controller. Pending successful contract negotiations, Barrow will begin his role at KPPA on July 1, 2024.

Barrow will succeed David Eager, who is retiring at the end of June after leading KPPA since Sept. 2016.
