Jim Hardman has been appointed to head of real assets manager research, multimanager solution at Northern Trust Asset Management.
Previously, Hardman was a portfolio manager and senior research associate on Northern Trust's multimanager solutions team. The team is responsible for manager identification, research and due diligence, and investment monitoring for a wide variety of client assets including institutions, foundations, endowments and high-net-worth individuals. His responsibilities include due diligence and analysis on prospective managers, monitoring and reporting on current managers, portfolio construction, asset class education, as well as various research projects.
Prior to joining Northern Trust Asset Management in 2019, he was a portfolio manager with Harrison Street Securities Advisors. He also was a portfolio manager with BNP Paribas Investment Partners, where he managed a global listed real estate strategy.
