Iron Point Partners launches fifth real estate fund

Washington, D.C.–based Iron Point Partners has opened a new fund to investors, Iron Point Real Estate Partners V, according to an SEC Form D.

The fund invests in opportunistic real estate transactions throughout the United States and North America.

Iron Point Real Estate Partners pursues a thematic investment approach across numerous commercial real estate property types and specialty asset classes, according to the company’s website. Iron Point pursues a value-oriented investment approach in partnership with a network of best-in-class joint venture operating partners, and high-quality institutional and family office limited partners.

In January 2018, the firm closed its fourth fund in the series with $117.7 million in capital commitments. The recent SEC filing for Fund V notes that the vehicle has collected $80 million from nine investors. A fundraising target was not disclosed.
