Invesco Real Estate adds to residential investment team

by Andrea Zander

Invesco Real Estate (IRE) has appointed Victoria Stanley as director of fund management for residential investment.

Since launching its U.K. residential program spearheaded by John German in 2014, IRE’s U.K. residential investments are now approaching £1 billion ($1.3 billion) including pipeline deals, complementing the firm’s push into U.K./European operational real estate, which currently stands at £1.75 billion ($2.26 billion).

“We are absolutely delighted that Victoria has decided to join the Invesco Real Estate team. Her arrival corresponds with our clients’ growing appetite for investment into the U.K. residential market due to its potentially strong income component and ability to add diversification to multi-asset portfolios — of particular importance to U.K. LGPS and pension fund investor,” said Andy Rofe, managing director, Invesco Real Estate – Europe.

Stanley brings 12 years’ transactional and operational real estate experience from across the United Kingdom and Europe to IRE, joining from Long Harbour, where she contributed to the firm’s establishment and growth of its residential fund strategy, deploying £350 million ($453 million) into the U.K. private rented sector and build-to-rent market.
