Hudson’s Bay Company to develop life-sciences portfolio in Greater Boston Area

HBC Properties and Investments (HBCPI) and Streetworks Development, the in-house real estate development arm of HBC, today announced plans to convert a three-property, 360,000-square-foot retail portfolio in the greater Boston metropolitan area to state-of-the-art, life-science facilities.

Each of the three sites – located in Burlington, Natick and Braintree, Mass., – are within walking distance to thriving lifestyle and shopping centers at the heart of retail and transportation hubs. The spaces will be repurposed to serve as cutting-edge, research-and-development facilities suited for a wide variety of life-sciences and office uses.
