HashGains.com has launched its crowdsale program to build large cryptocurrency cloud-mining data centers in India and Canada that use renewable energy such as wind and solar.
“With the growing worries around bitcoin mining causing environmental damage, difficulty levels of mining increasing and returns heading southwards, there was no better opportunity but to build green energy data centers which run on free sources of energy like wind and solar, ensuring handsome mining rewards while taking care of environment,” said Anuj Bairathi, CEO and founder, HashGains, in a statement.
The current crowdsale or initial coin offering of HashGains (HGS Tokens) is aimed at raising $30 million to build two mega-sized data centers and buy mining machines.. HashGains claims profits generated from these data centers is planned for distribution to its token holders in form of dividends.
HashGains is a cloud mining platform with more than 10,000 active customers and expects to reach 1 million customers by 2020.
