Shopping center operator Hammerson has confirmed talks of selling its retail parks portfolio to Brookfield Asset Management.
The sales price is €350 million ($478.87 million) for seven retail parks in the United Kingdom, reported The Sunday Times. The properties are located in Falkirk, Didcot, Middlesbrough, St Helens, Telford, Merthyr Tydfil and Rugby.
There can be no certainty that a transaction will take place or the terms on which any transaction may occur. The company will provide a further update in due course, if appropriate, according to the statement filed with the London Stock Exchange.
