Hamilton Point Investments (HPI), a real estate private equity investment company that owns and manages multifamily apartment properties, has begun raising capital for its sixth fund, HPI Real Estate Fund VI.
HPI invests through a series of real estate private equity investment funds raised from individual accredited investors through a selling group of independent broker-dealers and registered investment advisers.
HPI Real Estate Fund VI is seeking to raise $100 million and, with leverage, will acquire about $250 million of post-2000 construction, class A-/B+ apartment properties.
The predecessor fund, HPI Real Estate Fund V closed with $115 million at the end of 2017.
Hamilton Point has completed more than 60 real estate investments totaling 12,000 apartment units and $1.1 billion of value. Over 30 of these properties have subsequently been sold, all profitably. The properties owned by HPI and affiliated entities are managed by wholly owned Hamilton Poi
