Guggenheim Real Estate reaches $1b for U.S. property fund

Guggenheim Real Estate, the global asset management and investment advisory division of Guggenheim Partners, has reached $1 billion in fundraising for GRE U.S. Property Fund, according to a filing with the SEC. The firm did not comment on its fundraising efforts.

GRE U.S. Property Fund is an open-ended real estate fund that launched in 2012. It follows a core-plus investment strategy and invests in major property types throughout the United States.

Guggenheim Real Estate focuses on the return and risk needs of insurance companies, corporate and public pension funds, sovereign wealth funds, endowments and foundations, wealth managers, and high-net-worth investors. The firm currently has $242 billion in total assets across fixed income, equity and alternative strategies.
