Grosvenor Americas makes two appointments

by Andrea Zander

Grosvenor Americas has appointed Steve Guberer as senior vice president, capital markets

Based in the firm’s Washington, D.C., office, Guberer will lead Grosvenor’s capital markets activities in the United States and Canada.

He joins Grosvenor from CBRE, where he was responsible for originating, executing and marketing more than $1 billion of equity annually in real estate private placements across various core and niche sectors.

Steve O’Connell, chief executive at Grosvenor Americas, said, “Steve joins Grosvenor at a strategic time as we advance our growth plans in preparation for the coming recovery. His track record, industry relationships and in-depth knowledge of all areas of real estate development, investment and capital markets will be invaluable as we prepare for higher levels of activity in the United States and Canada. I am confident Steve will help facilitate our goals to grow our portfolio as we work toward net zero by 2030.”
