Google, the technology company giant based in Mountain View, Calif., has expanded its real estate in north San Jose with the acquisition of three industrial buildings for $117.3 million.
The three properties were sold by a joint venture comprised of Trammel Crow Co. and Principal Real Estate Investors who completed construction of the MidPoint@237 project in November 2016.
MidPoint@237 consists of three class A advanced manufacturing buildings, totaling approximately 600,000 square feet.
Google has been making a push to expand its presence in the Bay Area. In 2016, the company bought an eight-building office complex from NetApp for $250 million, and in September 2017 it bought an additional three office buildings totaling 381,000 square feet from NetApp for $318.7 million.
