GLP completes $1b logistics campus in Tokyo

by Released

GLP has completed its GLP ALFALINK Sagamihara, a massive-scale, new-age logistics campus in Greater Tokyo. Built at a total investment cost of JPY 150 billion ($1 billion), the project spans a gross floor area of 680,000 square meters (7.3 million square feet) across four buildings.

The facility is fully leased to more than 30 prominent companies with a total workforce of over 5,000 employees.

Strategically located near the Sagamihara Aikawa Interchange and Sagamihara Interchange on the Ken-O expressway, the site is an ideal location for a logistics base with its transportation access to the Kansai and Chubu regions, in addition to being a distribution base for the Kanto region.

GLP ALFALINK Sagamihara is the first fully established campus under the ALFALINK brand.
