​​Gloria Gil to take up senior investment officer role at the Oregon State Treasury

Gloria Gil, a partner at Alpine Grove Partners since 2021, will join the Oregon State Treasury (OST) in July. She will serve as the senior investment officer for the OST’s $14 billion real estate portfolio.

At Alpine Grove Partners, Gil led new business development in North America, served as the ESG Officer, and was a member of the investment committee.

Gil was previously a senior managing director for the Regents of the University of California. She joined the pension fund in 2006 to kick off its domestic and international real estate portfolios and built the global portfolio to more than $5.5 billion. It consisted primarily of separate accounts, as well as open-ended funds and closed-end commingled funds

Before that, Gil served as senior investment officer for real estate at Los Angeles County Employees Retirement Association (LACERA), growing the portfolio from $1 billion to $3 billion.

Gil began her career as an asset manager at TCW Realty Advisors
