Glenmede, a privately held and independently owned investment and wealth management firm, has announced the appointment of Brian K. Green, CFA®, as chief investment officer (CIO) of private wealth, reporting to Thomas P. Melcher, director of private wealth. Green will be responsible for formulating investment policy and strategy for over $29 billion of assets under management and for ensuring that the firm’s strategic investment philosophy is reflected in client portfolios.
Green will co-chair the private Wealth Investment Policy Committee and oversee the Portfolio Construction Consulting Group, a specialized group of professionals who support portfolio managers in their management of complex relationships.
