Singapore's GIC has purchased the High Tech Campus in Eindhoven, The Netherlands, for $1.3 billion through an Oaktree Capital fund, according to media outlets.
Oaktree is the manager of the mutual fund that now owns the High Tech Campus. GIC is the principal investor in that mutual fund.
The High Tech Campus Eindhoven is a high-tech center and R&D ecosystem. It is home to more than 140 companies and institutions. The Financial Times, Fortune, Forbes and others have praised the High Tech Campus Eindhoven as one of the best locations in the world for high-tech venture development and startup activity.
