German investor plans to invest €300m in 2019

The owner-managed investment company Commodus, which specializes in commercial properties in large German cities with value-added potential, is planning to invest €200 million to €300 million ($226 million to $340 million) in the acquisition of properties this year.

Along with the top seven German cities, target markets include fast-growing cities in the Rhine-Main region and southern Germany, which Commodus ranks based on the categories of economic development, digital economy and living standards. The purchases will mainly take the form of off-market deals. Commodus thereby aims to invest a volume of up to €100 million ($113 million) per transaction
