Garrison Investment Group launches new fund

Garrison Investment Group, a middle-market credit, distressed and asset-based investor based in New York, has launched its newest real estate fund, Garrison European Real Estate Lending Fund I, according to a filing with the SEC. The firm did not comment on its fundraising efforts.

Garrison European Real Estate Lending Fund I will invest in debt secured by real estate properties throughout Europe. The firm’s debt business provides “floating-rate first mortgage loans, B-notes, mezzanine debt and preferred equity in the United States as well as nonrecourse solutions to European borrowers seeking to either effectuate a discounted payoff or acquire new property.”

Through its real estate team, Garrison invests across most major property types, including hospitality, retail, senior housing, office and industrial assets and portfolios.
