Folksam buys four Gothenburg offices for €166m

Folksam has signed an agreement with Stena to acquire four office properties in central Gothenburg, Sweden, for SEK 1.63 billion ($200.3 million).

Folksam continues to invest in Gothenburg after the first acquisition of an office property this spring. The new acquisition includes (Gårda 18:21, Gårda 18:25, Gårda 19:7, Stampen 26:2), Gröna Skrapan, located in two of Gothenburg’s inner city’s most expansive and attractive offices, Gårda and Stampen. The portfolio totals 387,500 square feet of rentable office space.

“These nice properties are located in two of the submarkets in Gothenburg, which we consider to be the most attractive for companies and organizations,” said Lars Johnsson, head of the Folksam Group’s real estate business. “The investment gives us a good base for continued expansion and dedication to offices in Gothenburg.”

Buyers are both Folksam Life and Folksam Sak.
