FCP Realty Fund V adds Oklahoma Teachers to investor base

FCP Realty Fund V, a real estate fund managed by Maryland-based FCP, has added another U.S. pension fund to its investor base.

In May, the Oklahoma Teachers Retirement System approved a $100 million follow-on commitment to Fund V, joining the Regents of the University of Michigan and the Teachers’ Retirement System of Louisiana as recent investors in the fund.

FCP invests in undervalued and/or underperforming multifamily assets located primarily in select Southeast and Sunbelt markets in the United States. In addition, the manager invests in office assets on an opportunistic basis.

Fund V has a target of $950 million and will invest in multifamily, office and mixed-use assets in the United States.
