EXCLUSIVE: Marcus Partners completes final close for third value-add fund

Marcus Partners has announced the final closing of its value-add Marcus Capital Partners Fund III with $360 million in capital commitments.

Marcus Partners said the fundraise exceeded both the original $300 million fundraising target and the $350 million hard cap.

More than 80 percent of the investors from the fund's predecessor, Marcus Capital Partners Fund II, invested in Fund III. Roughly 85 percent of these were institutional investors, and the investor base also included a select group of high-net-worth families, the majority of whom have been investing with the Marcus Partners team for over a decade.
