Alpine Grove Partners (AGP), an independent real estate private equity firm, has hired Gloria Gil as a partner.
She will be based in Los Angeles. Her responsibilities include capital raising for the club/co-investment mandate focused on Western Europe and, long-term, expanding the firm’s footprint in the United States through co-investments and separate account mandates.
“This position is different in a way, as I am switching over from the LP side to the GP side,” said Gil. “Capital raising will be a new opportunity for me to grow the firm’s capital under management through the relationships I have built globally in the past 20-plus years. Investing with operating partners in Western Europe and Japan would be quite an experience, and then growing the U.S. business with separate account mandates will be exciting as well.
