Europa Capital has partnered with DeA Capital Real Estate France to launch the new French Light Industrial Platform.
With a target gross-asset value of more than €100 million ($101 million), the platform will forward-fund the speculative development of five modern light-industrial projects through a transaction with developer Axtom.
The seed portfolio will comprise about 28,400 square feet of new, high-quality space located across the French cities of Wattrelos, Lille; Colombier, Lyon; Epernon, Chartres; Brignoles, Marseille; and Saint-Herblain, Nantes.
Now under construction, the schemes are expected to be delivered between the fourth quarter 2022 and early 2023 and have been financed through the provision of a green loan from HSBC Continental Europe.
