The U.S. Department of Energy’s Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy (EERE), and its Office of Electricity (OE) have announced a request for information (RFI) seeking feedback from industry, academia, research laboratories, government agencies and other stakeholders on issues related to integrating electric vehicles with the grid.
The RFI is being jointly issued by EERE’s Vehicle Technologies Office and OE’s Advanced Grid Research and Development Division. Collaboration across offices is one way in which the Department of Energy is developing affordable, efficient and clean transportation options to tackle the climate crisis and accelerate the development of innovative transportation technologies.
