Australia-based EG has appointed James McAdam to the role of fund manager for the Yield Plus Infrastructure Property Fund No. 2 (YPI2).
Formerly a portfolio manager with CIP Asset Management at Challenger Group, McAdam joins EG with 20 years of experience across the funds management and finance industries.
The YPI2 strategy seeks to acquire a portfolio of yield-producing real estate assets located in close proximity to new or upgraded infrastructure. To this end, EG also recently acquired a well-located Melbourne office asset at Abbotsford for YPI2.
As the fund matures, it is now entering its consolidation phase, allowing McAdam the opportunity to focus on strategy execution. He also will lead the strategic delivery in EG’s newly launched Urban Regeneration Joint Venture, which continues the success of YPI2.
