Developer completes tallest office building in Bucharest

Belgium-based developer Weerts Group has completed its 19-story, 18,000-square meter (59,055 square feet) office tower in downtown Bucharest. The project, Unirii View, is the CBD’s tallest modern office building, rising 73 meters. In addition, it’s the first property in Romania to receive and “excellent” rating under the new BREEAM regulations.

The property is reportedly 80 percent leased, and tenants include NTT Data Romania, Spaces, H&M Romania, Pernod Ricard Romania and Red Bull Romania.

According to media sources, the cost to develop the project was approximately €33 million ($38.5 million).
