Denmark’s PFA makes first direct logistics deal in China

by Andrea Waitrovich

Denmark’s PFA Pension, LOGOS and Canada’s Ivanhoé Cambridge have partnered together to create an $850 million vehicle to invest in Chinese logistics facilities, according to media outlets.

The move is PFA’s first direct investment foray into Asia Pacific.

The new partnership is the third logistics vehicle set up by LOGOS in China. It will invest in north, south, east and midwest China.

Earlier this year, Ivanhoe and the Canada Pension Plan Investment Board entered into two agreements to invest in the LOGOS Singapore Logistics Venture (LSLV) and LOGOS Indonesia Logistics Venture (LILV), which will focus on developing and acquiring modern logistics facilities in Singapore and Indonesia. And Ivanhoé Cambridge partnered with QuadReal Property Group for LOGOS India.
