by Andrea Waitrovich

Crow Holdings Capital – Real Estate has announced its $1.85 billion final close for its Crow Holdings Realty Partners VII and a $295 million close for its inaugural Crow Holdings Retail Fund.

Consistent with CHC–Real Estate’s prior funds, Fund VII is expected to pursue an investment strategy focused on acquiring a diverse portfolio of assets that generates current income and benefits from capital appreciation. The fund is expected to acquire investments in various asset classes including industrial, retail, office, multifamily, hotel, self-storage, and convenience stores and gas stations. Investment strategies include both the acquisition of existing assets and new development.

Since starting in the private equity real estate fund business in 1998, CHC–Real Estate funds have raised $6.25 billion.
