CrossHarbor Capital Partners launches 10th fund, makes new hire

Boston-based investment manager CrossHarbor Capital Partners has launched its 10th opportunity fund, CrossHarbor Institutional Partners 2021 (CIP 2021).  It has a $850 million fundraising target.

Consistent with the investment strategy of its predecessor funds, CIP 2021 will target high-yield debt and equity investment opportunities across the United States. The newest fund expects to build on CrossHarbor’s 28-year track record of success in investing up and down the capital stack, across all property sectors, and in varied market conditions. The firm believes that its pedigree of real estate ownership, rescue capital finance, and distressed and turnaround investing, makes it well-positioned to take advantage of the dislocation caused by the pandemic and the market’s anticipated recovery.

In separate news, the firm has hired Brian Delgado as managing director to lead the firm’s international capital-raising initiatives. The firm has completed 17 funds to date,
