by Kali Persall

Cromwell Property Group has promoted Stephen Cahoon to head of asset management Europe.

In his new role, Cahoon will be responsible for providing strategic leadership to Cromwell’s asset management teams across Europe.

He will work alongside Jitse Mulder, head of property management Europe, and Kaj Bakker, sustainability manager Europe, to devise and execute a strategy that aims to deliver an integrated and consistent approach to asset managing Cromwell’s European property portfolio.

Cahoon joined Cromwell in 2011 and has also served as co-head of U.K. and head of asset management U.K. He also held a lead role in the CEREIT team, which successfully prepared the platform for its €1.3 billion ($1.5 billion) IPO in 2017.

Prior to that, he served as asset and investment manager at VALAD (EUROPE) LIMITED for five years.
