Cromwell buys office assets in France and Poland for €247m

Cromwell European REIT, Singapore’s first euro-denominated REIT, has bought six new assets for €246.9 million ($279.61 million).

The six European freehold office properties include three in France and three in Poland. The deal represents the firm’s entry into the greater Paris office market and increases its presence in the Polish office market.

The French properties comprise three office assets located in or near major business districts, such as Ivry-sur-Seine, La Defense and Charles de Gaulle Etoille.

In Poland, Cromwell European REIT is acquiring two predominantly office properties in Krakow, the second-largest city in Poland, and an office property in Poznan, the fifth-largest city in the country.
