Connecticut Retirement Plans & Trust Funds commits $50m to U.S. multifamily

The $34 billion Connecticut Retirement Plans & Trust Funds, Hartford, is considering a $50 million investment to a fund managed by Covenant Capital Group.

Covenant Apartment Fund IX is a U.S. multifamily real estate fund.

Covenant Capital Group held a final close of $260 million for Covenant Apartment Fund VIII. The value-added fund focuses on acquiring, renovating and repositioning apartment communities in the Southeast and mid-Atlantic.
