Cohen & Steers has launched U.K. Diversified Real Assets SICAV, which will provide U.K.-based defined contribution pension funds access to global real assets.
The fund invests in a portfolio of property, infrastructure, gold and commodity equities as well as fixed income for portfolio diversification and to manage risk. Cohen & Steers said the diversified blend offered by the fund could help investors with inflation protection and portfolio diversification with the potential for improved risk-adjusted returns.
The fund is led by portfolio manager Vince Childers, who oversees approximately $1.2 billion in assets for the firm.
