Clarion Partners Europe forward-purchases Amsterdam warehouse

Clarion Partners Europe has agreed to forward-purchase a grade A warehouse development in the wider Amsterdam port on behalf of one of its commingled funds.

The development, located near the Amsterdam city center and situated in the newly created HoogTij business park, is a build-to-suit for the Dutch subsidiary of German 3PL provider Fiege.

Construction on the 42,905-square-meter (x-square-foot) institutional-quality warehouse has commenced and is expected to reach completion in the third quarter of the year.

Fiege will serve as developer and Goldbeck as general contractor.
