Chris Rice-Shepherd joins Related Cos. as head of capital raising

Chris Rice-Shepherd has joined Related Cos. as head of capital raising.

Most recently, he was director, investor coverage and business development, at Crow Holdings — a role he had held since 2019. Prior to this position, he served as a managing director of business development at Wafra Investment Advisory Group.

Rice-Shepherd began his career in the investment banking division of PaineWebber, where he served as an analyst in the firm’s real estate group. From 2002 to 2012, he served in a number of real estate acquisition and asset management roles in the fund management business of CIM, and later with Stockbridge Capital Group. From 2012 to 2018, he was a managing director at Cliffwater, where he led the firm’s real estate investment advisory practice.
