Chris Miers joins NEPC as senior research consultant

Chris Miers has joined NEPC as a senior research consultant, based in Boston. He will be part of the real assets team within NEPC’s broader research group. Miers will be responsible for analyzing global market trends, identifying attractive investment themes, performing due diligence on investment managers, writing research papers, and working with clients to build and structure real estate and real assets investment portfolios.

Miers has worked in the institutional real estate industry since 1999. Most recently, Miers was a principal at Bard Consulting, based in San Francisco. Miers joined Bard Consulting in 2009 and became a principal in 2016.  In addition to management responsibilities at the firm, Miers focused on manager and asset due diligence, transaction structuring and negotiation, and real estate investment strategy development.
