Chicago Municipal Employees actively seeks investment officer

The Municipal Employees’ Annuity & Benefit Fund of Chicago (MEABF of Chicago) is actively seeking an investment officer to oversee the roughly $3.6 billion of the pension trust fund’s investments in a diverse range of asset classes, including public equities, fixed income, hedged equity, real estate, infrastructure, private debt and private equity.

The investment officer will report to Tiffany Junkins, executive director at the MEABF of Chicago.

Prospective candidates should have graduated from an accredited college or university with a bachelor’s degree in a business-related field and should have a minimum of seven years of progressively responsible experience in investment management.

An advanced degree such as an MBA, CFA and/or CAIA, is preferred, as is prior public pension fund experience.
