CBRE Investment Management expands EMEA logistics operator team

CBRE Investment Management (CBRE IM) has made several appointments to its EMEA logistics-operator team, in a move that highlights the firm’s commitment to provide integrated investor and operator solutions.

Piet van Poppel has been appointed head of logistics transactions management; Rob Trevor has been appointed logistics client experience lead; Harald Evers will take up the role of logistics property platform lead; and David Horvath has been appointed director logistics transactions.

Piet van Poppel has been with CBRE IM since 2005 and has grown the Belgium business from €300 million ($329 million) assets under management (AUM) to €1.5 billion ($1.65 billion) AUM. In the past three years, Piet has made a significant contribution to the growth of the logistics platform in Europe, acquiring 12 off-market assets, valued at €750 million ($823 million), in Belgium, Luxembourg, Sweden and Denmark.
