CBRE Global Investors sells shopping center in Netherlands

by Released

CBRE Global Investors, on behalf of the CBRE Dutch Retail Fund, has sold shopping center Mosae Forum in the city center of Maastricht, Netherlands, to Corum Asset Management. Mosae Forum comprises approximately 14,000 square meters (150,695 square feet) of retail space divided over 17 units and is fully let to strong retail brands including Jumbo supermarkets, H&M and The Sting. Mosae Forum was developed in 2003 and since has been part of the CBRE Dutch Retail Fund.

The CBRE Dutch Retail Fund is an unlisted real estate fund, managed by CBRE Global Investors with €1.3 billion ($1.53 billion) of assets under management. The fund’s strategy is to invest in sustainable and scalable mixed-use investments in vibrant city centers and inner-city neighborhood retail centers in major cities in the Netherlands.

The sale of Mosae Forum is in line with this strategy. The revenues are to be reinvested in, among other uses, the redevelopment of Amsterdam Poort.
