CBC Healthcare Infrastructure Platform announces second close for life science real assets venture, securing $875m

CBC Healthcare Infrastructure Platform (CBC HIP), an independent life science real assets platform in China, has held a second close of its first life science real assets venture (CLSRA Venture I), securing a total commitment of $875 million, with Mubadala Investment Company, a Abu Dhabi-based sovereign investor, joining existing investors APG Asset Management N.V. (APG) and CBC Group.

Following the initial close in November 2021 and the successful closing of four projects, CBC HIP continues to generate substantial pipeline, and the inclusion of Mubadala as an investor allows CLSRA Venture I to secure further opportunities. The life science real assets sector is a vital part of China’s new economic landscape and continues to benefit from significant tailwinds.
