Carlyle launches real estate fund
The Carlyle Group has launched a new closed-end real estate fund, according to IREI’s FundTracker database. Carlyle has launched Carlyle Realty Partners VIII, an opportunistic fund that will invest in U.S. office, multifamily, retail and senior housing properties.
Carlyle previously held a $4.2 billion final closefor the fund’s predecessor, Carlyle Realty Partners VII.
In other news, Colony Hills Capital has launched Catalyst Real Estate Fund, the first in the series, according to IREI’s FundTracker database.
