Cabot Properties raises £69m for first U.K. Core Plus Industrial Fund

by Kali Persall

Cabot Properties has raised £69 million ($84.9 million) for its U.K. Core Plus Industrial Fund, which was launched in March.

The core-plus fund is looking to raise a total of £250 million ($331 million), which it will use to invest in industrial and logistics assets in the United Kingdom.

According to an SEC Form D filing, the fund has received backing from two investors. When the fund launched, the Pennsylvania Public School Employees’ Retirement System was planning to commit £50 million ($66 million) to the fund, according to our previous coverage.

The Boston-based private equity real estate investment firm is actively seeking opportunities to acquire and develop industrial property in major metropolitan markets across North America and the United Kingdom.
